Here is the honest version. The 3-year guarantee is on the refill bottle, not a money-back promise on the full kit. Is it really DIY?
Yes. The 60ml Kit is made for homeowners to apply by hand. You clean the glass, dry it properly, apply the coating, then let it cure. You do not need a contractor or special machine. The main thing is patience during prep, because coating dirty or wet glass is where people create problems.
How long to install?
For one normal shower screen, plan 60-120 minutes. Aaron’s Kota Damansara shower took 95 minutes because he was careful with prep and drying. If your glass has heavy existing spots, the cleaning stage can take longer. Do not rush that part. The coating can only protect the surface it bonds to.
Does it really last 3 years?
On a normal home shower, EnduroShield lasts about 3 years when applied and maintained as instructed. That does not mean you never wipe the glass. It means minerals and soap have a harder time bonding, so regular wiping works better and the glass stays clearer for longer.
My glass already has water spots. Will it help?
It can help protect the glass after cleaning, but it cannot reverse badly etched or permanently damaged glass. If the spots are surface minerals, clean them first, then coat.
