1. Your choice, in short
Our cookies fall into three groups: Necessary, Analytics and Marketing. Necessary cookies are always on. You decide about the other two.
- Visitors in Malaysia and most other countries: Analytics and Marketing are on when you arrive. You can switch them off at any time.
- Visitors in the EU, EEA or UK: Analytics and Marketing stay off until you choose Accept All or switch them on yourself. We tell which group you're in from your browser's time zone.
To change your choice, open Cookie Settings. The same link is at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice for 12 months.
2. Necessary (always on)
The shop can't work without these, so they can't be switched off.
- woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*: keep your cart filled while you browse.
- __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid (Stripe): help our card payment provider spot fraud.
- es_consent: remembers your cookie choice. wp_consent_statistics, wp_consent_marketing pass that choice on to the other tools on our site.
- wordpress_logged_in_*: only set if you log in to an account.
3. Analytics
These show us which pages people read, what they click and where they get stuck, so we know what to fix.
- sbjs_* (WooCommerce): records how you found us, for example a Google search, an ad or a link, so we can see which channels bring in orders.
- _ga, _ga_C2GP05YR0X (Google Analytics 4): counts visits and page views.
- _clck, _clsk (Microsoft Clarity): records clicks, scrolling and visits as heatmaps and session replays.
4. Marketing
These measure our ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google and ChatGPT, so we know which ads actually lead to orders.
- _fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel): link your visit to a Facebook or Instagram ad you saw or clicked.
- _gcl_au (Google Ads) and our own es_gclid, es_gbraid, es_wbraid: link your visit and order to a Google ad you clicked.
- __obref (OpenAI): links your visit to an ad you saw in ChatGPT.
Some of these also keep a copy in your browser's local storage. Meta, Google and OpenAI may set cookies on their own websites under their own privacy policies. We don't control those.
5. What our server sends
Browsers and ad blockers often stop tracking scripts, so our server also reports some actions directly:
- When you view a product, add to cart or start checkout, our server tells Meta.
- When you place an order, our server tells Meta, Google and OpenAI. This includes your email address, phone number and name, scrambled with SHA-256 hashing before they leave our server.
If you switch Marketing off, our server stops sending these too.
6. What happens when you say no
- Meta Pixel, Google Ads, the OpenAI pixel and Microsoft Clarity don't load.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads are told you said no (Google Consent Mode). They stop using cookies, though Google may still receive a basic, cookie-free signal that a page was viewed.
- Cookies these tools already left in your browser are deleted.
- Our server stops sending your visits and orders to Meta, Google and OpenAI.
Necessary cookies stay, because the shop can't work without them. You can say no to Analytics and Marketing separately in Cookie Settings.
7. Videos and maps from other services
Some of our pages show videos or maps from other services, such as YouTube and Google Maps. Those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
8. Other ways to control cookies
- Clear cookies in your browser settings (Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies).
- Block cookies in your browser. Your cart and checkout will stop working.
- Use a private or incognito window.
9. Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
